The Bar
Everybody has to believe in something…
I believe I'll have another drink” ‐ W.C. Fields

This chic and sophisticated pub is inviting, exciting and friendly. The Tower offers a great mix of people, entertaining conversation and above all ‐ that great experience start to finish.

Filled with locals in for an after‐work pint, students home for the holidays chilling with a cider, ladies enjoying gin cocktails in the beer garden, old friends catching up over a dram, tourists experiencing Perthshire with a local beer and passers-by wishing they were staying in Crieff ‐ the Tower is the place to be.

Even nipping to the ladies is an experience ‐ there you will find none other than Marilyn Monroe decorating the walls. There are no half measures at The Tower.

Malt
Whisky is liquid sunshine” ‐ George Bernard Shaw

As The Tower is home to over 110 single malt whiskies, the choice is yours. Opt for a smooth Macallan, a smokey Laphroaig or the ever popular Glen Livet.

And if whisky is your forte, make sure and visit the Glen Turret Distillery ‐ Scotland's oldest distillery ‐ and home to The Famous Grouse Experience. Where you can have your photo taken with the world's largest bottle of whisky!

Wine
Wine is bottled poetry” ‐ Robert Louis Stevenson

Celebrate with bubbles, complement your steak with a bottle of the finest red or relax and enjoy the sunshine in the garden with a crisp rosé. At The Tower you will find a wine for every occasion.

I'll stick with gin. Champagne is just ginger ale that knows somebody” ‐ Hawkeye, M*A*S*H

Of course you will find Bombay Sapphire Gin at The Tower, but what you might not expect is The Botanist Islay Dry Gin or the hugely popular Edinburgh Gin. What more could you want than going local with your favourite drink?

Gin lovers… Why not check out Strathearn Distillery's ‐ Gin Experience.

While in Crieff, you may be tempted to try one of the many local beers and ales that The Tower has on offer. Ask about the range of beers from Inveralmond Brewery, or Strathbraan Brewery's local ales. They go great with the grub too.

Many people come to Scotland and walk the West Highland Way because walking is a great way to see the countryside. Be it a gentle stroll round Lady Mary's or the Knock, a hike up Ben Vorlich, a visit to the Hermitage, the soldier's leap at Killiecrankie or check out Walk Highlands to see what Crieff and Strathearn has to offer!

Head for the hills and up to Loch Turret for the chance to enjoy the beautiful view looking over towards Crieff. Make your way up the hills amongst the rustic heather, hillside sheep, highland cows and perhaps you will even spot a native Grouse.

There are four main rivers for salmon fishing in Scotland which attract people from around the world. These include; the Dee, Spey, Tay and Tweed. Staying at The Tower studio apartments, the River Tay is practically on your door step and the river Dee is definitely an easy day trip away!

For Trout fishing there are also an abundance of places to visit and many nearby. Wellfield Trout Fishery is a popular fishing day out and you can even hire the gear. History

Scotland is home to approximately 2,000 castle and 5,000 years of incredible history! As a result of this rich history, making the Scots who they are today, Scotland has many attractions worth seeing! Here are a few suggestions to whet your palette.

Wallace Monument tells the story of heroic Scottish figure William Wallace. Climb the 246 steps and find yourself speechless with the panoramic views (and probably breathless too) as you look over the Ochils, the Forth Valley and Stirling, the Pentlands in the East and Ben Lomond and the Trossachs to the West. (*photo by Andrew Gilmore)

Experience the Battle of Bannockburn, 700 years after it took place. Celebrate Robert the Bruce, King of Scots and his victory in regaining control of Stirling Castle and the defeat of the English invasion.

The City built on a City! Did you know part of the Royal Mile, Mary King's Close, in Edinburgh was covered and the City Chambers built on top of it? For those who love a bit of history and archaeology, this is a must see. And just a short walk up the Royal Mile is Edinburgh Castle why not visit while you are there?

If you don't mind a bit of a drive, New Lanark is an excellent day out. Step back in time and experience a bygone era and learn about how we used to live. Take a boat across Lake of Menteith to Inch Mahome Priory, the ruins of an abbey, once inhabited by Monks that dates back to 1238. Take a picnic and lets the kids explore the ruins while you ponder the fact that King Robert the Bruce and Mary Queen of Scots both visited the Island.

Innerpeffray Library was the first free public lending library in Scotland, dating back to around 1680. Home to an amazing collection, book worms should definitely visit. Drummond Castle Gardens dates back to the 17th century. Today, the French- Italian style Victorian gardens boast beautiful rose bushes, immaculate hedges and water features. A short stroll from the car park has you arriving on the top terrace overlooking the majestic gardens.

Blair Castle and Gardens is a beautiful collection of historic landscape, magnificent buildings and stunning gardens. Wander amongst the colourful peacocks and soak up the culture and history.

Named among the top 40 experiences in Europe Stirling Castle is a brilliant day out for the whole family. Step back in time with the re-creations and imagine the lavish life in this castle as a royalty or the hard work endured as a maid or servant. Stunning and fun learning, there is nowhere quite as exciting.

The stunning Glamis Castle is full of history, fantasy and class. With a history as long as 600 years in the hands of the Earls of Strathmore, Glamis Castle is a family treasure and one of Scotland's most spectacular castles.

Kids

There are plenty of child-orientated places around Perthshire to visit with the kids. The range of outdoor activities nearby are vast but the unpredictable Scottish weather doesn't always allow you to plan, so check out the rainy day suggestions and have a backup plan.

Outdoors

Crieff's newly refurbished Macrosty Park is the place to go on a sunny day! With almost £2million spent on renovation, the park boasts state of the art safe play facilities and Pavilion Café. The beautiful grounds are dog friendly, child friendly and a great place for a picnic. The Salmon ladder provides the chance to see leaping salmon too. It really is an idyllic place.

For those who love adventure, Crieff Hydro's Action Glen provides plenty of choice; archery, clay shooting, croquet, mountain biking, woodland combat, Aloft, climbing wall, segways, quadbiking and if that's not enough choice, you could take a trip to Loch Earn where you can water ski, wakeboard, tornado ride or hire boats.

Landmark Forest Adventure Park is a great day out for the whole family. Enjoy the excitement a forest has to offer by climbing the fire tower, sawing wood at the UK's only steam powered sawmill, spot red squirrels on the Treetop Trail and then experience the more daring attractions such as Skydiving, Ropeworx, Pinnacle climbing wall, and the Wildwater Coasters; Otter, Wildcat and if you dare Falcon!

On a Rainy Day

The Strathearn Community Campus has something for all ages! Leisure pool, fitness gym, squash courts, sports hall for badminton or 5-a-side football, and even a library for quieter moments.

Jump in the car and 5 minutes outside Crieff is Bennybeg and Ceramic Experience. Paint your own ornaments, enjoy a homemade cake and a cuppa while the kids play in the soft play area. Why not get your hoods up, wellies on and feed the ducks and swans while you are there? “You'll no shrink!”

Further afield, Perth has an abundance of exciting things to do. Kids love the slides and outdoor lagoon at Perth Swimming Pool, where under 5s go free! Remember to say hi to Jack, Oreo, Ruby, Bill and Ben too, Live Active's Turtles! With bowling, go-karting ceramic works and soft play, Noah's Ark is the perfect place for burning off some energy while avoiding the outdoors.

Wildlife

A brief 20 minute drive from Crieff is Auchingarrich Wildlife Centre. There is lots to do; play at the fabulous new play areas, fishing, hold rabbits and chicks, feed the ponies , release your inner daredevil on the flying fox, and see over 70 animals.

There is something so exciting about driving amongst animals… Kids love it! Blair Drummond Safari Park is home to Elephants, Lions, Tigers, Bears, Camels, Deer, Monkeys, Otters, Rhinos, Meercat and Bison. Walk through Lemur Land, get close at the petting zoo, take a trip to Chimp Island or fly across the river on the flying fox. And of course there is the Pirate Ship adventure play area with buried treasure! A must see is the Sea Lion show!

Camperdown Wildlife Centre has some of the most colourful birds! It's a great place to take a picnic and learn about wildlife.

Edinburgh Zoo is home to Tian Tian and Yang Guang ‐ the UK's only Giant Pandas. There are cafés and picnic areas so make a day of it and ensure you see the world famous Penguin parade, visit the UK's only Koalas and check out the Budungo Trail ‐ where you can get close to Chimpanzee and see the links with our closest relative.

Where else in Scotland can you see Polar Bears, Tigers and Wolves in the one place? Don't worry though they aren't in the same enclosure!! Highland Wildlife Park is worth the drive to. Take a drive round the safari before taking your time to stroll round the idyllic grounds. The breath taking views of the Scottish Highlands alone are worth the visit!

Ever seen a deer up close? From Roe Deer to Reindeer, Red Deer and Elk, The Scottish Deer Centre gives you the opportunity to become one with nature and see Scotland's beautiful beasts up close and personal.

Live on the wild side and take a Highland Safari through the forests, mountains or opt for a walking or cycling safari.

Beavers in Scotland, saving the red squirrels, these are just two of the projects undertaken by the Scottish Wildlife Trust. There is plenty to get involved in such as adopting an animal, watching the live webcams or visiting a reserve.

Based near the Firth of Forth, Deep Sea World lets you walk amongst the sharks, literally. Experience the underwater safari where sharks will swim above your head as you make your way through the tunnel. You might even be brave enough to take a dive and swim with them.

Go underwater at St. Andrew's Aquarium and enjoy the colourful fish, snappy lobsters, cute seals and what aquarium doesn't have meerkats? Ever seen a crocodile smile? Yup they even have crocs too!

People emerge from the Scottish SEA LIFE Sanctuary in awe at the variety of animals including seals, otters, turtles, starfish, stingrays and many more found at the sanctuary. Seal pups often run into difficulty with Scotland's unpredictable weather or face abandonment by their mothers, the sanctuary rescues the pups and nurses them back to health before releasing them back into the wild. Booking Terms

These booking terms ('Booking Terms') are between the person or legal entity making the booking ('You/Your') and The Sirple Ltd (Registered Office 63 Whirlow Road, Glasgow, G69 6QE Company Number: SC560625) our officers, employees and agents. These Booking Terms are for the provision of accommodation services ('Booking(s)'), by the hotel, guesthouse or accommodation provider You have selected (the 'Establishment') and are displayed above in this online Booking confirmation and in your confirmation email ('Booking Confirmation'). These Booking Terms are governed by Scottish law and apply to all Bookings. By making a Booking You are deemed to accept and be bound by these Booking Terms.

You must be able to enter into a legally binding contract and be over 18 years of age to make a Booking.

Bookings

Our services to You are to take your booking and Your payment (where applicable) and to make the arrangements with the Establishment You selected. We are not in a position to ensure that the Establishment meets your expectations or performs its services properly or at all. Our liability is limited to securing the Booking, routing your payment to the Establishment and managing any refund in the event of a cancellation, in line with the terms of the Cancellation and Deposit policies stipulated on your Booking Confirmation which you accepted by ticking the box provided at the time of booking.

Bookings are made and a contract between You and Us comes into effect when We accept a reservation from You. A reservation is deemed accepted when We have confirmed Your reservation and received either: (i) full payment of the total price; or (ii) payment of any other amount We have specified at the time of Your Booking. Where Your online payment is less than the total value of the stay is paid, the balance will be paid by You directly to the Establishment, on either check-in or check-out or at an earlier date if so requested by direct communication between You and the Establishment.

When Your Booking is confirmed, a reservation number is given. This number must be retained and quoted in all communications should any cancellation or amendment be necessary. You will need to quote this reservation number when contacting the Establishment.

Although You make a Booking through Us and have a contract with Us, the Establishment is responsible for the day to day provision of the services to You under that Booking. Therefore, all and any complaints must be directed to the Establishment in the first instance.

Prices

All prices include VAT where applicable at the current rate. Prices quoted are correct (unless a pricing error occurs) only for the specific number of guests, dates, nights and rooms shown on Your Booking Confirmation. On the rare occasion that an error in pricing occurs and the Establishment does not accept Your reservation, even after We have issued a Booking Confirmation, We will notify You as soon as We reasonably can and refund the amount paid in full without any liability for the error or omission. You agree that neither We nor the Establishment will be liable for any additional expenses You may incur as a result of the error or omission.

If You have selected booking extras these are added to the total price of Your Booking. Prices do not include other costs You may choose to incur during Your stay (unless otherwise stated).

Availability

In the rare case that the Establishment is unable to accommodate You as per Your Booking, You will be offered alternate accommodation by the Establishment and if there is a difference in the Price, the Establishment will be liable for the price differential. If the differential is less than the original value of Your Booking a refund of the difference will be made to You. If the differential is more than the original value of Your Booking the differential cost will be borne by the Establishment.

Arrival and Departure

The latest arrival (check-in) and departure (check-out) times are specified on Your Booking Confirmation. Should You wish to check-in later than the specified latest check-in time You must confirm this directly with the Establishment. In the event that You attempt to check-in later than the stated times without prior arrangement, or fail to check-in at all, the Establishment may cancel the Booking and retain any amounts it is entitled to retain as stated in the Cancellation Policy section of Your Booking Confirmation. Failing to arrive before the latest check-in time shall be deemed to be a full cancellation of your Booking, and the room may no longer be held for You.

Cancellations & Amendments

Cancellation terms are specified on your Confirmation as displayed on the Website or sent You by email. If You cancel Your Booking on or before the cancellation deadline specified in the Cancellation Policy section on Your Booking Confirmation (the 'Cancellation Deadline') a full refund will be given including any booking extras paid at the time of Your Booking.

If You cancel Your Booking after the Cancellation Deadline You will be charged the full value of the late cancellation fee specified in your Confirmation, including any booking extras You have selected for the duration of Your stay.

If You change the number of guests, dates, room nights or room type ('Amendment'), then the prices are subject to change. Should You request an Amendment and should the Establishment not be in a position to accommodate Your Amendment, Your Booking will be cancelled and a full refund given to You provided that such cancellation or amendment occurs on or before the Cancellation Deadline, failing which the terms described in this Cancellation clause shall apply. If you arrive after the agreed check-in time or do not arrive at all, the Establishment has the right to cancel your entire Booking and charge any applicable Cancellation fee and the Establishment will be under no obligation to hold the accommodation for You.

IMPORTANT: You may cancel Your Booking by following the instructions in Your Booking Confirmation. Once the check-in date has passed, The Sirple Ltd shall not waive or refund any applicable cancellation fees if the Establishment you have booked has not confirmed the same by clicking on the 'cancel' command in their reservation system.

Payment

Bookings must be guaranteed using a valid credit or debit card or via PayPal or any other payment type specified. The total amount payable to confirm Your Booking is quoted in Your Booking Confirmation and will be charged to Your credit or debit card or PayPal account or any other payment type offered at the time of Booking, according to the payment schedule specified on Your Booking Confirmation.

Your payment will appear on Your card statement under the title 'Hotel paid via eviivo'; and display eviivo Limited as the merchant of record. Your order may be cancelled automatically if your card is declined by your bank or if there are no sufficient funds on Your account. All additional goods and services purchased during Your stay must be paid in full directly with the Establishment.

IMPORTANT: your card details are processed according to the PCI-DSS security standard and passed on to the Establishment and may be used to 1) guarantee Your reservation or 2) preauthorise or charge any applicable deposit or cancellation fees as soon as you enter the period where these come into effect. A preauthorisation is NOT a charge and no monies are taken from your account, but the credit limit available on your card may be temporarily reduced by the value of any cancellation fee or deposit applicable at that time.

You are responsible for any damage or loss caused to the Establishment, including any damage to their property by Your act, omission, default or neglect and You agree to indemnify Us and the Establishment and You agree to pay Us or the Establishment on demand the amount reasonably required to make good or remedy any such damage or loss. Further, we reserve the right to terminate Your Booking immediately without being liable for any refund or compensation where You engage in unacceptable behaviour that causes a disturbance or nuisance to other guests at the Establishment.
